Programs & Curriculum Business Fundamentals The Certificate of Achievement in Business Management provides students with the understanding and knowledge necessary for managing people and functions. To get the certificate a student must complete 30 credits in identified courses including: financial accounting, Intro to information systems, business law, principles of management, organizational behavior and a few more. Cosmetology Program This course requires a total of 1,800 hours. Full-time students can complete this course in only forty five (45) weeks. Cosmetology is an exciting, fast paced career that is constantly evolving with new ideas, techniques and equipment. Cosmetologists work with a variety of people each day, assisting them with their beauty needs. Licensed cosmetologists can cut, perm, relax, color and style hair. They can also provide facials, manicures and pedicures. Hair Designing This course requires a total of 1,200 hours. Full-time students will complete this course in thirty (30) weeks. From cut and color to editorial session styling, our instructors will inspire and teach you some of the most advanced techniques in design and hair care. Manicuring This course requires a total of 600 hours. Full-time students can complete this course in 15 weeks. One of the largest areas of growth in the beauty industry is nail care. Properly trained and licensed manicurists are in demand. Our manicurist program offers the students both the theory and practical skills necessary to meet the state licensing requirements. Students will learn about and be able to perform manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, tips, polish, art and much more. Teachers Training The curriculum consists of 1,000 hours of technical instruction and practical, in teaching the art of cosmetology. The Instructor course is designed to prepare the licensed cosmetologist for licensure and employment as an instructor of cosmetology as prescribe by the State of Nevada. Esthetics This course requires 600 classroom hours. This course teaches our students how to consult with clients, skin analysis and care, facials, facial massages and manipulation using mask and/or pack hair removal, product knowledge, make-up application, maintaining healthy skin, safety and sanitation, career development and salon skills necessary to ensure success in your new career and much more.programs_files/ECI-CSNProgramFlyer.pdfshapeimage_1_link_0
